BRIGHTEVERYDAY Making Waves
So, who will take responsibility for the Pandemic, its proliferation and chaotic management? Whilst conspiracy theories heap up at the gate, the world descends into a deeper misery and widening chasm of wealth, poverty and opportunity, the blame game becoming more toxic and dangerous. The evidence of pain and suffering of the many, contrasts sharply with the obscenity of an elite, wealthy individuals, and corporations alike, whose time is surely approaching like a menacing juggernaut. It represents not so much a shift, but a surge of humanity, claiming freedom from the tyranny of a sated Capitalist creed, so embedded and parasitical in a disparate, unforgiving, neglectful, world, a world of division and rancour.
The monstrosity of commercial greed and exponential, often secretive wealth, of the Tech giants and Pharmaceuticals to name but a few, cast an indelible die and melancholy over a manipulated and engulfed populace, all the time being stripped of dignity and resolution. Choice, often outlawed by pressure sales and intimidation, and indeed, medications, often prescribed by professionals “incentivized” by corrupt practices are an industry norm. It stinks of corporate greed and violation of human rights by an unscrupulous pharmaceutical industry, one whose “transparency” goes hand in hand with lobbying, and a malevolent culture of political abuse through campaign contributions, and numerous immoral affiliations, all the time showing a contempt of propriety and corporate social responsibility.
Health care is a human right and should not, and never be, be a market commodity controlled by a sect of profligate, elite masters. Perhaps the most significant strategy, is to identify the major players and individuals controlling the world supplies of food, medicine, finance, minerals and other strategic goods, then investigate their practices, integrity and judicious competence as key and strategic providers; furthermore, evaluate and test their standing and fitness for purpose in the Court of Human Rights worldwide! After that, further investigate the legality of their practices, and a detailed public accountability of their political associations, and renumerations, particularly to those in public office. That should make for interesting reading! We have had enough, and the tide is turning, not rippling, but in a maelstrom of torrents and vortices.
To those giants of Industry and Technology, the cartels, let there be no hiding place; the days of asset stripping and moving production mercilessly around the globe are over. Tax goods at the point of consumption, and treat those low-tax havens and soft-touch countries as defectors and outcasts; break up the cartels and the overgrown, obese corporates, perhaps with windfall taxes and a new “ Pariah Tax” on those obsessive, power-crazed oligarchs of business. The control and manipulation of goods around the world, the suppression of free movement, restrictive practices and supply of goods, moreover, the corruption of officials and disregard for decency and integrity are ended, indeed outlawed in a modern equitable world. Undoubtedly, a judicious investigation into their activities will elicit not only a reaction, but a definitive movement against their very existence, creating a level playing field, and a fair and just distribution of goods and wealth throughout our impoverished, divided, world.
Those self-serving global giants, who think themselves untouchable, will not be so smug, their truths exposed, and their gorged underbellies ruptured by inexorable, sated indulgence. People deserve respect, and all lives matter, in a fair, caring, sharing, connected world. The sleeping giant, that is humanity, is surely benign and intelligent; when wounded, insulted, and abused, a roaring lion takes up the mantle, its collective energy unflappable in resolve, so be not unprepared for the wrath and indomitable surge against corporate corruption and those complicit minions, altogether, hiding under the misanthropic banner of globalisation!
Our politicians have surely let us down through indecision, ineptitude, complicity by inactivity, and intrinsic and systemic failures in governance and in understanding the magnitude of contempt and corruption, by the protagonists, rather they have been seduced by their old nemesis, power and greed! Perhaps a new breed of politician grounded in social awareness, common decency, public spiritedness, and responsibility can navigate a new path, one of cohesion, mutual benefit, humility, endeavour, and integration, all towards a more simple life, respecting, once again, the very elements and munificence of nature, and the abounding natural world around us.
We may have strayed from the path, and our spiritual allignment with the natural order, become selfish and remote from each other, both as individuals and nations, but, there is a perpetual, and indelible link to nature, in all things around us. It is nurturing, sustaining and ever-present as a force, regenerating and showing us through its complex, yet beautiful synergy, the natural rhythm and cycle of life, and the endurance of the physical and metaphysical world in which we are bound to acknowledge and inhabit in peace, and co-exist in harmony. It shines a light on the new order of the urbane, and the sublime, consigning to the depths, the irreverent world of excess, commercialism, and the degradation of our often obscured coupled world, and core values, by conglomerate, nihilistic, misappropriation. The essence really, of the modern shapeshifting sorcerers!
We are thus compelled to re-define our role, and prejudiced views of and in our world, to be inclusive and connected, value human endeavour, endure and show respect for each other with great fortitude, be strong in commitment, and remember we are equal in all that we are. We should embrace learning, and our edifying exalted journey forward, indeed, be prepared for new exciting challenges and opportunities that will surely come our way, in the new free world of self determination and collective spirituality.
