BRIGHTEVERYDAY Meaning and Connection
Perhaps an apology for repeating the message over, and over again! We feel engulfed in a war of the unknown, a deadly virus, mutating and straining every sinew of body and mind. Devastation, and fear in its wake, entropy creates an environment for change; it challenges and probes with menace, but it compels a seismic shift in accepted protocols, practices and lifestyles, but more so in the very core values of society. How to transcend such a deadly incursion demands great fortitude; it also asks profound questions of our future relationship with each other and the world we inhabit.
This is a moment in time we shall all remember and is a fitting time to ask ourselves very serious questions, examine our lives, habits, our opinions; am I living a life that is being true to myself, and am I being the very best that I can be! How to define and achieve that is for each of us to consider, then mobilise our energies with fortitude, and galvanise strength to create a momentum for profound change in our daily lives, and that of others. We are strong together. There is a great reward in a really, hard days physical work, and pushing your boundaries. Sometimes you may feel “but what can I do alone” but several weeks ago we highlighted that from acorns, mighty oak trees grow!
There is so much we can do to give our lives added meaning and purpose. This applies to all ages. So many, fill their lives with trivia and just stuff! Perhaps it sates a fleeting need, greed or even obsession, but more often it is to conceal an emptiness created by fearfulness, loneliness, a feeling of guilt and unfulfillment. There are situations where one may not feel “good enough” or brave enough, to make the necessary adjustments required to raise personal awareness, and vibration, and make new, and profound changes. We all have an indelible right to have a contented, joyous, fulfilled, life and to inspire that ethos of wellbeing, amongst others.
To obviate pressure that one may feel from consumerism, and competitive peer groups, or from tenure of a misaligned life of sagacious self-indulgence, one may look to re-evaluate personal values and criteria for a simple, yet, rewarding life. A life where you embrace awareness and freedom, and to learn and grow, perhaps to help others, and feel invigorated by the power and the glory of humility and hope. We have a rich and diverse, bountiful planet, full of beauty, mystery, and an abundance of natural resources. It is a challenge just to explore the breadth of how we could commit to understanding it, helping to educate and support others, in protecting and sharing its precious munificence.
Never be afraid. See yourself as the creator of your heartfelt emotions and life. That strength will show you a way to personal fulfilment, heralding a new awareness. It will shine a guiding light on of those in need and those to follow, defining in you in a path of sublime urbane understanding, of humankind. There is a lofty, indelible reparation in giving generously to others, as there is indeed, in feeling the graciousness and humility of receiving. Please let me draw you to a wonderful book, “Little People, Big Dreams”, ostensibly for children, or the child in all of us! It beautifully illustrates, often humble lives, those of great people, both young and old, who inspired and dared to dream of a world of goodness, and great unselfish deeds. People of all ages can be inspirational, and illuminate a world so in need of love and caring, and, on the way, create a sublime culture of knowing and being, that transcends all material things, in perpetuity of compassion and humanity.
