BRIGHTEVERYDAY A Groundswell for Change

There are those who simply refuse to contemplate change, of any magnitude, or be deflected from their path, and journey. However, for others, an outpouring of emotions, sympathy, and empathy, accompany a new feeling of release, towards an innate, profound, exalted faith, in an indomitable future. It has new horizons, with aspirations and worldly purpose, for an altogether new way of living a full and sublime life. Swept up in a vortex of inspired and sanguine possibilities, denial and uncertainty, even fear, are swept away, in the true belief we have a different purpose, with unlimited breadth, and colour; it suggests an infinite horizon of human endeavour, and promise, a natural path to a wonderful serendipity.

Notice the relaxed and happy faces; the unhurried stroll, no more the sedentary irritation of inactivity and toil. Timely intervention transformed the grain etched on furrowed brows and often sunken cheeks; rather, the silky benign skin, glowing around the piercing lustrous eyes, all suggesting that it is all quite consequential, perfectly urbane and full of meaning. One should never ignore the signals and reciprocity of body and mind, their symbiotic balance and indelible blueprint for interaction and harmony, an elixir of profound potions. They are the building blocks provided by nature, so readily ignored, cast aside, in the age of excess and profanities. There now is a perfect storm for sweeping change and rediscovering a simple, natural world. It is a world of great beauty, of humility and generosity; to be Brighteveryday!

Nature is the great provider. Think of the wonders of sunrise and sunset, the aurora and the firmament, or the maelstrom, the seasons of plenty and growth, decay, and regeneration. Treated to the most spectacular visions and humbling experiences of our natural world, we have enjoyed the space and time to immerse ourselves in understanding our complex, yet beautiful, bountiful world. We vibrate with our environment, flora and fauna, the landscape and ecosphere; it shapes us and defines us, but it is inclusive and welcomes us as cohabitants in partnership. We are part of a tapestry, millions of years old, and every day it gives us another little piece of magic; a new species, the eloquent and sublime riches of the sea, understanding the matrix of communication of all creatures, and their inter-related mysterious world. We have so much to learn, but we all have the same gift, bountifully provided, to understand such relationships and diversity. We have strayed too often and too far from our origins, from the very source of our energy and origins.

Let us not be tempted to return to the inane, prosaic, forsaken world of selfish obsessions, hedonistic delusions, and greed; we all have a very illuminating and rewarding part to play in the challenge ahead, one which will not only define us, but plot the path away from the precarious future of our planet, and endorse our urbanity and sagacious interventions, in favour of a gifted so-existence. We have it entirely in our power to accede to worldly altruism.

Sublime being is a sophisticated state and we must use our knowledge wisely. We have a responsibility to remain resolute and true; nature is the perfect guide, ancient and arcane, complex, yet beautiful and judicious, it reflects and communicates, always, and talks to us. Thus, we should get closer and replenish the bonds, the links to the chain of evolution, of all the kingdoms of the natural world. There is an indelible joy in the complex tapestry of evolution, in contemplating the profound relationships and skills found in all species. It is what we see in the here and now landscape of humankind in all its glory, and imperfections. Perhaps we should roll in infinity, look to the familiar surroundings of Planet Earth, and try just a bit harder to be the best that we can be, get a stronger foothold in the wonders of our skies, seas, flora and fauna, then see how a sophisticated and unmaterialistic life can endorse humanity and hope.
